A 1st/2nd Line Application Support Technician is needed by a growing global retailer who are rapidly growing even in tough times!
As a 1st/2nd Line Support Technician, you will work in a dynamic environment to support EPOS and business-critical systems for stores nationally. The 1st/2nd Line Support Technician will be exposed to clear progression paths, training, and regular development reviews within a larger National IT department.
ROLE: 1st/2nd Line Application Support Technician
SALARY: £25,000 – £31,000 (incremental), plus pension scheme, 5 weeks holiday & bank holidays, free parking, death in service, long service reward, paternity, maternity and adoption pay, bike to work scheme, online discounts, excellent training and development
LOCATION: Atherstone, Warwickshire (commutable from Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield, Dudley, Solihull, Redditch, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Rugby, Coventry, Leicester, Loughborough, Burton on Trent, Cannock)

1st/2nd Line Application Support Technician responsibilities:
*Provide 1st and 2nd level support to regions and stores, escalating relevant issues to stakeholders
*Maintain an incident log to identify common themes
*Troubleshoot the POS software using basic SQL
*Troubleshooting or knowledge of basic network and WIFI issues in store. This is desirable
*Execute rollout plans in collaboration with regions and external suppliers when needed
*Maintain an understanding on user requirements
*Support and maintain systems, conducting daily checks ensuring seamless operations
