Job Description

Our client, a leading wealth management firm, are looking for an impressive Business Analyst with significant experience with working on projects in the Risk & Regulation space.
The Business Analyst will work closely with the various business departments, to examine existing business models / flows of data, they will discuss their findings with management / client and then assist in the design of improved Operational and IT solutions. The successful candidate will be required to effectively draw out business requirements from SMEs and communicate back to the various stakeholders, managing Senior Business stakeholder expectations. The documentation formats will include User Stories / Use Cases, BRD and FSD where appropriate. Being able to present proposed design solutions to stakeholders they will, once approved, work closely with the project team to implement them.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES:
•Working on Risk & Regulation projects
•Liaise with all stakeholders
•Produce as required project feasibility / gap analysis reports
•Translate requirements into User Stories / Use Cases, BRD and FSD
•Identify options for potential solutions & assess them for business and to some degree technical suitability
•Work within an agile delivery methodology
•Ensure project deadlines & schedules are enforced/met and escalate any issues
QUALIFICATIONS:
Educated to degree level. An ISEB Business Analysis qualification (or IIBA), or alternative Finance Industry Related Qualification and/or PRINCE2 is desirable
EXPERIENCE:
You must possess significant experience working as a Business Analyst within the Wealth Management Sector, with a proven track record in Risk & Regulation projects.
The following experience is highly desirable:
•Delivering CRM solutions
•Delivering FCA Suitability solutions
•Working with an Agile delivery methodology
•Producing User Stories / Use Cases
ATTRIBUTES/SKILLS:
You will have an ability to learn quickly, with high attention to detail and tenacity to ensure timely completion of tasks. The ability to contribute to a team effort generating enthusiasm among team members is essential. A logical & creative approach to problem solving and an ability to identify critical issues with ease is also required.
