Business Development Manager (Midlands) £75k OTE Package Company Car Based from Home (ideally based around the Midlands, Birmingham, Coventry and Leicester area).
We are looking expand in our Midlands sales team in 2020 and will be looking to recruit Business Development Managers for our System Certification and Product Certification sectors, interviews will be conducted over the phone and video so don’t be put off applying.

The role of Business Development Manager is primarily focussed on selling of BSI Certification or Product Certification Services to a wide range of clients across all sectors. Such clients include, for instance, Manufacturers, Insurance Companies, Financial Institutions, Retailers and Challenger brands / New Start-ups,
The Primary certifications include well known ISO Certifications: 9001, 14000, 45000 and 27001 to name a few as well as Certifications to the world’s leading trust mark – Kitemark in the practices of Gas & Electric, Construction/ Built Environment, Personal Safety and new Consumer Kitemarks.
This role is responsible for identifying and managing sales opportunities, building an in-depth understanding of client business needs and drivers, to position how BSI products and services can enable organisations to improve, and manage the sales process to a successful conclusion through providing in depth quotations through our CRM systems.
To be successful as our Business Development Manager ideally you’ll require knowledge of related compliance, regulatory obligations which we will train you on, if you already have compliance and regulatory this would be an advantage.
You will need to have proven multi solution sales (cross selling) experience gained from working in a variety of solution based sales roles within in a variety of sectors in a similar sales or business development position or through experience in selling conceptual and differentiation solutions to enterprise and key customers
You’ll demonstrate proven experience of sustained over achievement in a new business sales environment and possess a proven track record of significantly exceeding targets and expectations
Excellent communication, organisation, tech savvy and problem-solving skills are essential in this solutions based sales role. (Midlands, Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Telford, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, West Bromwich, Cannock, Coventry, Rugby, Nuneaton, Solihull, Leicester)
